ART EDUCATION: Patrick Monaghan began his art education at Fleisher Art Memorial School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1994. He received instruction in figure painting and portraiture from such notable artists as Stanley Bielen, Paul Dusold, and Carolyn Pyfrom. Also, he was instructed in still life painting and continued his education in this genre with Louise Clement-Hoff, Nathan Rutkowski, and Christine La Fuente. 

Patrick Monaghan has attended drawing and painting workshops in the United States and abroad. He paints from both life, photographs and portrays color, line, texture, and light as he sees it. In the past he served as a monitor at the Philadelphia Sketch Club of which he was a member for twenty five years.
